Rubye Francis Davis, age 95

Rubye Francis Davis, age 95, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Logan Whitesides and Pashia Victoria Wilson Whitesides. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Spindale.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Johnnie Davis and wife Susie of Bostic; grandchildren Jarrod Davis and wife Amanda of Raleigh, Mallory Eaker and husband Zachary of Forest City and Cagney Davis of Charlotte; one great grandchild, Finn Eaker of Forest City; niece Mrs. Vance Hoots.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Yates Davis.  Brother Harold Whitesides, Miller Whitesides.  Sister Mrs. Ector Capps.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old Tryon Genealogy Society, 319 Doggett Road Forest City NC 28043.
