Ruth Blanton Sarratt, 83

Ruth Blanton Sarratt, 83, of Mooresboro, passed away on Friday June 20, 2018.

She was the daughter of the late William Clyde Blanton and Ocie Mae Whisnant Blanton. Ruth Blanton was very outgoing and loved her family dearly. She was a long-time member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Ruth will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Homer Sarratt Jr., three bothers William Neal Blanton, Harold Dean Blanton, Burl William Blanton.

Survivors: Left to cherish her memories are two daughters Nancy Dean Owens Burgess and husband Todd and Earlene Owens Johnson and husband Mike both from Mooresboro, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Eggers Funeral Home. Rev. Justin Roper and Rev. Kevin Hamrick officiated. Entombment was held at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery, Boiling Springs, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside.
