Ruth Hardin Duncan McKinney, age 89

Ruth Hardin Duncan McKinney, age 89 of Forest City passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016.

She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Luther and Georgiana Green Hardin. Ruth retired from Mastercraft Corporation in Spindale has been attending Adaville Baptist Church in Spindale. Her first husband, Luther Duncan and her second husband, Zeno McKinney preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Charles L. Duncan and wife Sally Ann of Forest City, a brother, Marvin Hardin and his wife Jane of Fairview, two grandsons, two great-grandchildren, and a step grandson.

The funeral service was held at The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Cobb officiating. The family respectfully request that memorials be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043. The Padgett and King Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
