Ruth Jones Ruppe, 82

Ruth Jones Ruppe, 82, passed away on September 2, 2019.

Ruth was born June 29, 1937 to the late Herman Memory Jones, Sr. and Connie Scruggs Jones. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one son Dennis Jones; three brothers Herman Jones, Jr. (Lillie), Walter Jones (Tiny) and Raeford Jones (Sarah); two sisters Melvina Humphries and Evelyn Martin.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband John Edward Ruppe; two daughters Barbara Wells and Rhonda Ruppe; one brother Barry Jones and wife Frances two brother-in-law's Bobby Martin and Maynard Humphries. She loved her four grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Prospect Baptist Church. She was laid to rest at Fredrick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney, SC following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to Prospect Baptist Church Youth Fund 2610 Prospect Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
