Ruth Kirby, 86, of, Mooresboro, passed away on Sunday, November 13.
Funeral services were held at Calvary Baptist Church. A native of Rutherford County, a daughter of the late F. Z. And Pearl Jenkins Elmore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Kirby; two sisters, Elizabeth Shirlen and Annie Pearl Womick; two brothers, Henry Elmore and Frank Elmore.
She is survived by one son, Dean Kirby of Mooresboro; one daughter, Peggy Kirby Scruggs of Mooresboro; four grandchildren, and one great grandson.
