Ruth Rector, age 82

Ruth Rector, age 82 of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Eula Haynes Arrowood. She was a retired textile employee and also retired from Belk. Ruth was a member of Spencer Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Winker and husband Joel of Rutherfordton, Shirley Luckadoo of Rutherfordton; one son, Chris Rector and wife Johnnie of Rutherfordton; brother, Claude “Junior” Arrowood of Rutherfordton; eight grandchildren & nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymon Rector, son Keith Rector, and brother Maxie Arrowood.

Funeral services were held at Spencer Baptist Church with Revs. Billy Vaughn, Bruce Caldwell and Jack Crain officiating. Interment followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
