On Oct. 18, students at Rutherford Early College High School joined Rutherford Regional in going pink to support breast cancer awareness and early detection.
Students at R-S Central High School took part in breast cancer awareness events by making and selling pink ribbons and pink foods such as cupcakes and Kool-Aid. Students raised more than $390, which they donated to Rutherford Regional’s Mammogram Program.
