Tabi Turner, right, a senior at Chase High School recently completed her senior project on pregnancy loss. For her project, Turner created memory boxes that will be used by Rutherford Regional’s Birth Place to give to mothers who have experienced a loss to keep items that belonged to their baby. Turner and her family handmade wooden boxes and sealed and painted them and included a baby blanket for either a boy or a girl along with cardstock for hand and footprints and a wisp of the baby’s hair. Accepting Turner’s donation was Childbirth and Women’s Health Coordinator Lucy Calhoun.
