Suzanne Holtzclaw has been named Director of Volunteer Services & Community Relations for Rutherford Regional Health System. 

Prior to joining Rutherford Regional, Holtzclaw was Coordinator of Programs & Exhibits for KidSenses Children’s InterACTIVE Museum in Rutherfordton. She has also served as Volunteer Coordinator for the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, where she recruited more than 1,000 volunteers and facilitated volunteer orientations and trainings monthly. 

Holtzclaw is a 1999 graduate of R-S Central High School and a 2005 graduate of Western Carolina University, where she obtained a BFA in Art/Graphic Design. She is a former board member for Realize Rutherford and is a member of Volunteer Rutherford. As a teen, Holtzclaw was a Teen Volunteer at Rutherford Regional for three years. 

Holtzclaw and her husband, Shane, live in Rutherfordton.
