Annual Diaper Dash for “Hands of Hope for Life.”


Sat. August 14, 8:30am (Registration) Motorcycle/Classic Cars ride at 9am. BBQ & fixins’ will be served 12-4pm. Take-out available. Gospel Singing featuring: Golden Valley Crusaders, Southern Sounds, Goodes Creek Quartet & The Gospel Travelers will perform from 2pm-5pm. Event held at Rutherfordton Second Baptist Church (Family Life Center) on Green Street. All proceeds will go to “Hands of Hope for Life”, the local Pregnancy Care Ministry.

Bluegrass Concert


Every Friday in July, 7PM at Union Mills Learning Center. Admission; $5, kids 12 & under FREE. BBQ plates, $6. Proceeds go toward helping keep the Center open and functioning to serve the community. Parking Lot Swap 


Last Saturday of each month, meet at Union Mill Learning Center, 10AM. Beginning July 31- bring items for barter or sale. Plants, produce, tools, services, materials, farm/domestic animals, household items, anything useful that you would like to trade for something other. Have large items you can’t bring? Bring a picture and the info. In these tough economic times let’s pull together to help our selves, while helping others!
