Rutherfordton Garden Club Celebrates 85 Years

Rutherfordton Garden Club was formed June 19, 1933 at the home of Mrs. B.D. Wilson. The Club meets monthly at the Rutherfordton Clubhouse with a variety of gardening guest presenters, field trips, and hands-on workshops. Proceeds from the Christmas Wreath Sale benefit our many projects. Members are actively involved in beautifying the community in areas including: Norris Library, Rutherfordton City Cemetery, Crestview Park, Plant Circle, and more.
