Sallie Davis Greene celebrated her 104th birthday on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her home in Rutherfordton, surrounded by friends and family.
She grew up in Green Creek, NC on a farm. Her parents were Boss and Liza Davis. She was married to Harold Greene. With their union they raised three sons William Greene, Harold Greene Jr., Kenneth Greene and one daughter Earlene Greene Stroud. They also raised a lot of other children. Mrs. Greene is very thought of in her community.
Mrs. Greene has 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
