Sandra Marie Dayberry Martinez, age 42

Sandra Marie Dayberry Martinez, age 42, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

Born April 1, 1975 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to Pansy Branch who resides in Forest City and the late David Hudson. She was a homemaker and a member of Adaville Baptist Church. Sandra's life's enjoyments included drawing, traveling and social networking. She was also an animal lover. Sandra loved her family dearly.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Marie Martinez and her aunt, Janice Ives.

Besides her mother, those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Dulce Martinez, Jharleen Martinez and Litzy Martinez all of Forest City; one son, Gerardo Martinez and fiancé, Jessica Goode of Rutherfordton; the father of her children, Jose Martinez of Forest City; one brother, Brandon Branch and sister, Ashley Elliott and husband, Travis all of Forest City. She is also survived by four special cousins, Teresa Lovelace, Karol Atkins, Crystal Goode and Lee Goode.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Cobb and Reverend John Godfrey officiating. Interment followed in the Adaville Baptist Church Cemetery.
