Sarah was born July 12, 1932 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Paul Branch and Alice Louise Coffey Branch. She worked in textiles most of her life and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Alexander Baptist Church and was currently attending Pleasant View Community Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Tommy” Holland and a brother, Leonard “Bud” Branch.
Survivors include her son Doug Holland and wife, Stephanie; one daughter, Pamela Holland Hutchins and husband, Leonard all of Forest City; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren,
Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Danny McCain and Reverend Franklin Jones officiating.
