Sarah Waters Reed, age 78

Sarah Waters Reed, age 78, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Dan and Nellie Johnson Waters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Reed; a daughter Patricia England; two brothers Donald Waters and Sherman Waters. Sarah was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church and was retired from Broyhill.

Survivors include: Two daughters: Wanda D Owens and her husband Julius of Forest City, Kay Reed of Rutherfordton. Three sisters: Dorothy Hudgins, Diane Pruett, Carolyn Bright. Two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Sandy Level Baptist Church with Reverend David Barton officiating. Interment was held at Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
