Sharon May Wysong Abramczyk, age 78

Sharon May Wysong Abramczyk, age 78, of Shelby, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016.

Born June 25, 1938 in Traverse City, Michigan, she was daughter to the late Arthur Wysong and Doris Wysong. Later in life she was co-owner and operator of Falls Motel and Santa Claus Lane in Chimney Rock. Being a devoted wife, mother and friend, Sharon had a compassionate, generous and loving heart, deeply affecting all those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Abramczyk; and three sisters, Debbie, Marlene and Charlene.

Survivors include her four daughters, Valerie Kroeck of Missouri, Patti Neracher and husband Doug of Michigan, Lona Goodrich and husband Rick of Michigan, Carol Benforado of Shelby; one son, Richard "Butch" Abramczyk and wife Josie of Forest City; and one brother, Frank Wysong of New Hampshire. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was conducted at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Josh Benforado officiating.
