Shirley Allen Gee, age 84

Shirley Allen Gee, age 84 of Forest City passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Shirley was born on May 23, 1935 in Forest City and was a daughter of the late Joe W. Allen and Myrtle Seay Allen.

Shirley worked for many years for Cowan Tire & Battery in Forest City and she was a member of Florence Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Allen Godfrey and her brother, Gene Allen.

Survivors include Cheryl G. Anderson, her niece, her sister-in-law, Lenora Allen and her children, Rebecca, Dennis and his wife Laura, and Ricky all of Bartlett, Tennessee.

Honoring Shirley's wishes, no formal service will be held. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
