Stephen Kent Bradley, 49

Stephen Kent Bradley, 49, of Ellenboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 03, 2013. 

A native of Rutherford County, he was born on Friday, June 19, 1964, a son of the late Daniel Alfred Bradley and Judy Allen of Ellenboro. He was a former police officer with the Forest City Police Department and the Boiling Springs Police Department. Stephen was a member of Florence Baptist Church of Forest City; he enjoyed range shooting, softball and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Henry Daniel Bradley of Rutherfordton; two daughters, Amber Shauna Lowery and husband Johnnie Ray Lowery, Jr. of Hampton, VA and Kristin Paige Heffner and husband Adam Scott Heffner of Rutherfordton; his grandchildren, Audrey Faith, Ava Grace, and Scarlett Hope Lowery, and Adam Scott Heffner, Jr.

Funeral services were held at Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro with the Rev. Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
