Sue Ross Burnette, age 78

Sue Ross Burnette, age 78 of Forest City passed away Friday, May 1 2015.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late George Lawrence Ross Sr, and Ruth Crowder Ross. Sue was the wife of the late Frank Robert Burnette. Sue was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was retired from the textile industry as a seamstress.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Randy Burnette and wife Cindy, Mark Burnette and wife Kathy; daughter Cindy Bruce; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Ross, George Lawrence Ross Jr, and Glenn Ross; sisters, Patsy Ware, Brenda Rowe and Lois Rabb.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
