Sue Tate Price, age 86 of Forest City passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018.

She was born November 21, 1931 in Forest City and was a daughter of the late Chivous Reginald and Leona Holland Tate. Sue was a graduate of Cool Springs High School Class of 1950, a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and had previously worked in Records and Accounting for Southern Bell Telephone Company.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rex B. Price, sons, Tony Price of Winnsboro, SC, Doug Price and wife Libby of Forest City, Steve Price of West Columbia, SC, and daughter, Linda Price Landers and husband Mark of Stallings, NC, a brother, Fred Tate of Elizabethtown, NC, sister Martha Carroll of Forest City, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Rev Matt Mills and Rev Owen Duncan officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 397 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
