Tammy Blanton Pruett, age 52

Tammy Blanton Pruett, age 52, of Laurinburg, NC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Born October 12, 1964 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Brenda Webb Blanton who resides in Shallotte, NC and the late Maxx Blanton. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1982. She worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant for several years and also as a nurse's aide. Tammy will always be remembered as a kind-hearted person, who loved to bless others and share the love of God with them. Her life was dedicated to spending time with her children and family, and enjoying God's creations in nature, at the beach.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Donald Pruett; daughter, Maxx Pruett of Laurinburg; son, Shea Wood, and his wife, Ashley Wood of Atlanta; two grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Trixee Bell.

A graveside service was conducted at the Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are respectively requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to someone in need.
