Ted Hunt, 65, of Bostic, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Services were held at First Broad Baptist Church. Internment was held in the church cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Lee Hunt; one sister, Blanche Causby and by two brothers, Pedro Hunt and L.C. Hunt.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Lee Blankenship Hunt; one son, Teddy Ray Hunt, Jr. and wife Jessica of Bostic; two daughters, Audrey West and husband, Billy of Forest City and Kimberly Hughes and husband, Doug of Morganton, NC; three brothers, Joe Hunt and wife, Judy, Larry Dean Hunt and wife, Susan and Jerry Hunt all of Bostic; three sisters, Nellie Hicks of Albuquerque, NM, Betty Sue Varnell of Whiteville, NC and Carolyn Lytle and husband, Emmanuel of Marion, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two special friends, David Gurley and Travis Gurley and a number of nieces and nephews.
