Tena Paulette Reid, age 65

Tena Paulette Reid, age 65 of Mill Spring, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012.

A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Mildred Westbrook Fleming. Tena was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren and a dispatcher for Polk County transportation.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Kevin Reid and wife Terrie of Spindale; sister Jane Blackwell and husband Raymond of Rutherfordton; brother Randy Randolph and wife Janice of CT; niece Amanda Blackwell of Rutherfordton; great niece Lily Blackwell of Rutherfordton, and her former husband, Roland Reid of Landrum, SC.

Memorial services were held at Crowe’s Mortuary with Torrance Randolph officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.

Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
