NCAA Baseball

It appears the only team in the ACC left in the running for the National title is North Carolina, unless Duke somehow made it past Georgia on Monday.

Clemson, N.C. State and Florida State were all upset at home, while Louisville fell at Texas Tech. The Tarheels will now face Stetson and they remind me of Coastal Carolina from a couple of years ago. Stetson's pitching is not bad, but they can certainly hit the baseball and play defense. The only difference is that Coastal Carolina had way better pitching and they were clutch when they needed to be.

NBA Finals

It's over! Five games possibly left and Cleveland has to somehow win four of them. Sorry, but I think we all saw it coming. No matter how many Lebron scores, Golden State can go off as a team at any second.

Had J.R. Smith went up with the ball in Game 1 with less than five seconds to go in regulation or passed the ball out to a wide open Lebron for the possible game-winner instead of dribbling the ball out, at least they would have a road victory to hang some confidence on. Instead, they face a 2-0 deficit. I am not pulling for anyone, but Golden State's depth looks like it will outshine the Cavs once again this season.

The Owls

The Forest City Owls are back this season and opened up last week. The Owls split four games this week and are off to a 2-2 start. They have played three of the first four on the road and they have put up 35 runs in the first four games. The next home games will be on Thursday (7th) and Monday (11th).

NASCAR

This past weekend, Martin Truex Jr. got back on track by winning at Pocono. There wasn't much excitement in this one, but I am sure some fans are happy that Kyle Busch or Kevin Harvick didn't end up in victory lane. Those two again had cars good enough to win.

This weekend is Michigan and if Chase Elliott is going to finally break out, this is the place he could very well do it. Kyle Larson has won the last three at Michigan in exciting fashion, but I predict Kyle Busch to win this coming weekend.
