Thomas Geer Kenny II, age 94

Thomas Geer Kenny II, age 94, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020.

Thomas was born December 4, 1925 in Albany, NY to the late Thomas Geer Kenny, Sr. and Dora Redmond Kenny. Thomas was a highly decorated World War II veteran where he served in the U.S. Navy on the minesweeper, USS Rebel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Andre`e Belanger Kenny; twin brother, Edgar Kenny, Sr., sister, Agnes Kenny and brother, Buddy Charles Kenny.

Survivors include four sons, Thomas G. Kenny III, Patrick Kenny, Alan Kenny, Brian Kenny and a daughter, Cathleen Kenny; six nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be conducted. Mr. Kenny's ashes will be inurned at a State Veterans Cemetery in Florida.
