Thomas Madison Roach, age 63

Thomas Madison Roach, age 63 of Forest City passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. 

He was born August 14, 1951 and was a native of Rutherford County.  Madison worked in Automobile Dealership Management in New Car sales for over thirty years.  He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School Class of 1969 and was reared in the First United Methodist Church of Forest City.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed both fresh and saltwater fishing as well as cooking.

He was preceded in death by his father, James L. "Jimmy" Roach.

Survivors include his mother, Martha Ann King Roach Novak of Forest City, a son, Scott Roach of Forest City and a daughter, Leslie Roach of Ellenboro, two brothers, Tim Roach of Rutherfordton, and Ben Roach and wife Judy of Raleigh.  There are also four nephews and a niece.

A memorial service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Dr. J. O'Neil Haynes officiating.  Interment of his ashes followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
