Timmy "Fred" Padgett, age 59

Timmy "Fred" Padgett, age 59, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016.

Born on Saturday, April 6, 1957 in Rutherford County, he is the son of Jean Ervin who resides in Forest City. Fred worked in textiles for many years and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Doyle Ervin and sister, Dora Ann Horton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Robin Champion and husband, Robert and brother, Billy Ervin all of Forest City.

At the request of the family, a private burial will be held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery on a later date.
