Tina Fowler, age 81

Tina Fowler, age 81, of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017.

Born March 28, 1936 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Edgar Pearson and Mary Ledbetter Pearson. She attended Tri-High School and worked for Fiber Industries and Baxter Industries for many years. Tina was a past member of Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. She was known for her friendliness and outgoing personality and enjoyed carrying on conversations. Tina was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Charles "Booster" Fowler; three brothers, Glen, Norris and Bill Pearson and two sisters, Betty Hill and Margaret Griffin.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Tony Fowler and wife, Libby of Ellenboro and Chad Fowler and wife, Tracy of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be conducted for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are respectfully requested to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
