Tommy Larry Spicer, age 74

Tommy Larry Spicer, age 74, a resident of Bethlehem, NC passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2017.

He was born July 19, 1943 in Catawba County and was a son of the late Ernest and Rose Bailey Spicer. Tommy was a graduate of RS Central High School and was employed as an Insurance Agent and District Manager for Combined Insurance Company of America until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Spicer, and his sister, Jeanette Spicer Carpenter

Survivors include a son, Ernest Spicer, a brother, Herman Spicer and wife Russell of Forest City, brother-in-law, Joe Carpenter of Forest City, and a granddaughter.

A graveside service was held in the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev Clay Morgan officiating.

The Padgett and King Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
