Tommy Mode, age 58

Tommy Mode, age 58, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013.

     Tommy was born August 11, 1954 in Catawba County, NC to the late Thomas Voyd Mode, Sr. and to Dorothy Bright Mode who resides in Mooresboro. He worked as a self-employed mechanic most of his life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mooresboro.  He loved working with computers and was an avid car racing fan. 

     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Horseman.

     Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Crystal Smith of Mooresboro and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith and Amber Smith.

    Graveside services were conducted at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tim Frashier officiating.  

     Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC  28043.
