Vander Jolley McCraw, 89, of Forest City, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
A native of Cleveland County, she was born on March 10, 1923, a daughter of the late Burton Jolley and Bertha McCraw Jolley. She was a homemaker and member of Lavonia Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Belton McCraw; her brothers, Faye Jolley, Bobby Jolley, James Jolley, and Raiford Jolley; her sisters, Elsie Godfrey, Flossie Huskey, Ezma Barnes, and Mable Sue Ruppe; one grandchild, Brandy Splawn.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelba McCraw Splawn and husband Rusty of the Chase Community; one son, Bobby McCraw and wife Ginger Gettys of Ellenboro; one step-son, Paul McCraw of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Howard Splawn, Jennifer Tilley, Jordan Splawn, Vanisha McCraw, Bobbie Jo McCraw, Daniel McCraw, and Denise Haisman.
Funeral services were held at Lavonia Baptist Church with the Rev. David Slatton and Rev. Kevin Rhom officiating.
