Vera Marie Helton, 70, of Mill Spring, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Hospice. Services were held at Mountain View Baptist Church in Mill Spring. Burial was held in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Helton was preceded in death by her husband, William Helton; her parents, Carl and Mary Lou Burgess Gilbert.
She is survived by three daughters, Trina Burnett of Mill Spring and Lisa Wilson of Woodburn, OR; sons, Don Wilson of Sherwood, OR and Mike Wilson of Couer-d-lane, ID; sister, Sandra Gilbert of Mill Spring and 8 grandchildren.
Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
