Vicki Lynn Owens, age 54

Vicki Lynn Owens, age 54, of Union Mills, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

A native of Bowling Green, KY, she was the daughter of Bill Bowen and the late Ruby Cashion Bowen. Vicki was a medical secretary for the NC Department of Corrections and a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charlie Owens of the home; father, Bill Bowen of Morganton; two sons, Billy Jack Lovelace of Asheville and David Kyle Lovelace of Spindale; daughter Leslie Hudson of Golden Valley; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Cane Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Camp and Rev. Donald Crawford officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cane Creek Baptist Church New Building Fund, 151 Cane Creek Mountain Road, Union Mills, NC 28167.
