Viola Calloway Brooks, 61

Viola Calloway Brooks, 61, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012. 

A native of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Howard James Calloway and Azalee Florence Robertson Calloway. 

She retired as a housekeeper and was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Brooks. She is survived by her son, Billy Hollifield and wife Sharon of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Leisa Hollifield Mathis and husband Robert of Swannanoa; two sisters, Judy Sherlin and Shirley Calloway both of Asheville; her grandchildren, Tiffney Bell, Nikki Bell, Wesley Sanders, Michael Blanton, Lacey Mathis, and Daniel Mathis; one great grandchild, Hailee Arrowood.

At the request of the family, no formal services are scheduled.
