W.C. Dycus, 63

W.C. Dycus, 63, of Ellenboro, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013. 

A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, he was born on September 27, 1949, a son of the late Bill O. and Doris Bridges Dycus. He was a member of Walls Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce McCraw Dycus; one son, David Leon Dycus of Suwanee, GA; one stepdaughter, Traci Ledbetter; one stepson, Tony Ledbetter; his sisters, Jean Honeycutt of Ellenboro, Gaye Deaton of Maiden, and Judy Mott of Forest City; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service was held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Philbeck officiating.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
