Warren “Shorty” Blake, age 78 of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011. Memorial services were held at Oak Springs Baptist Church.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Garland and Vergie White Blake.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Billie Peach Blake; one daughter, Robyn Blake Elliott; two sons, Scott Blake and Bradley Blake; three sisters, Hazel Walker, Ruth Fowler, and Jane Banning; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherford County Hospice POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.
Crowe Mortuary is serving the family.
