Wayne Curry, age 75

Wayne Curry, age 75, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Wayne was born November 1, 1944 in Rutherford County to the late Huston Curry and Rosa Ellen Hill Curry. Wayne served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-three years, Janet Alan Curry and two brothers, Von and Ray Curry.

Those left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Christi Curry (Bobby Ayers) of Henrietta, Betty Jo Curry of Ellenboro and Amanda Curry of South Haven, Mississippi; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was conducted at the Cliffside Cemetery.
