Wayne Lawrence Canaday, age 40

Wayne Lawrence Canaday, age 40, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

A native of Maryland, he was the son of Patricia Fones Canaday and the late Dennie Canaday, a serviceman for Freeman Gas, and loving husband and father who enjoyed animals and teaching his children about working on their mini-farm.

Including his mother, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Pierson Canaday, two children, Jackson Canaday and Morghyn Canaday, of the home, a sister, Lori Huddleston and her husband William of Ellenboro, and two nieces, Emily and Kelly Huddleston.

Memorial services were held at the First Baptist Church of Forest City with the Reverend Garin Hill officiating.
