William “Bill” Denny, age 80, of Forest City, NC, passed away Tues. Jan. 31, 2012.
Bill was born May 15, 1931 in Hazard County, Kentucky to the late Forrest Denny and Francis King Denny.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents his was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, a great-grandson, Dylan Michael and step son, Craig Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Shirley Miller Denny; three daughters, Linda Denny Ridge, Anna Denny Hinton and husband, Ron and Mary Craig Everman all of Anderson, Indiana; two sons, James Edward Denny and companion, Jeannie of Lakeland, FL and William Allen Denny and wife, Tracy also of Anderson; one step-son, Gregg Miller and wife, Maxine of Forest City; one brother, Jim Denny of Florida and one sister, Mary Blankenship of Ohio.
He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
