William "Bill" Raymond Cochran, age 72

William "Bill" Raymond Cochran, age 72, of Forest City, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

He was a native of Mecklenburg County the son of the late Raymond Joseph Cochran and the late Mamie Loretta Caldwell Cochran. William was a US Navy veteran. He loved to sing and was an Elvis impersonator. He loved to travel to different nursing homes and perform as Elvis for the residents. He was preceded in death by his wife Ola Mae Cochran, one son Kenneth Todd Cochran and one brother Richard Cochran.

He is survived by: Six Sons: William Robert Cochran, Michael Joseph Cochran, Troy Glen Cochran, Bradley Cochran, Tyler Cochran, Brandon Cochran, One Sister: Nell Price. One Brother: Joe Cochran. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service was held at First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton.
