William "Will" Franklin Ownbey, age 79

William "Will" Franklin Ownbey, age 79, of Shingle Hollow, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019.

He was the son of the late Ray Ownbey and was a native of Rutherford County.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by three brothers; Dennis, Tommy and Donald Ownbey. Survivors include his wife: Regaina Crain Ownbey. His mother: Mary Sue Ownbey. One Son: Shane Ownbey and his wife Pam. One Brother: Jimmy Ownbey and his wife Brenda. Two Sisters: Minnie Ownbey Wallace and her husband Bill, Kay Ownbey Brooks and friend Cary Appling. Two sister-in-laws: Diane Ownbey, Gale Wadford. Two granddaughters.

The funeral service was held at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church.
