Wilma Jean Adkins age 75

Wilma Jean Adkins age 75, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2012. 

Wilma was the daughter of Ossie Hensley Penland and the late Charles Liston Penland.  In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband EG Adkins Jr; son Roderick Adkins, and her brother Charles Penland.  

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Renee Dawn Richard and husband Chad of Simpsonville, SC; daughter Deborah Lynn Adkins of Rutherfordton, NC; Sister Linda Penland of Burnsville, NC; granddaughters Kaitlyn Nicole Richard and Hannah Elizabeth Richard of Simpsonville, SC. Services were held at Mountain View Baptist Church with the Rev Ron Reep and Rev Terry Honeycutt. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
