Mountains Branch Library recently hosted "Wonders of Winter," Nature to Art children's programming with support from the Friends of the Library group. During the program children took a look at what happens outdoors when we are warm and cozy indoors. Children repurposed a Christmas tree into a giant treat for birds. Nature to Art Programs are usually held the third Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m., and programs focus on nature, science, arts, crafts and literacy. All ages are welcome, but crafts are designed for ages 5 and older. For more information, contact Mountains Branch Library, 828-287-6392.
