Wynelle Price McDaniel, 98, a long-time resident of Caroleen, passed away on October 14, 2020.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Price and Mittie McMahan Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. "Bud" McDaniel, son, J. R. "Buddy" McDaniel, Jr., as well as four brothers, Bruce, Jake, Joe, John, and sister, Cynthia Price Padgett. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Harriett Miller, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment followed in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Caroleen Baptist Church, PO Box 489, Caroleen, NC 28019 or Gardner Webb University Scholarship Fund, PO Box 997, Boiling Springs, NC 28017.
