Yolanda Quirino, age 65

Yolanda Quirino, age 65, of Morganton, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

Born March 15, 1952 in Los Indios, Texas, she was a daughter to the late Dionicio Ramos and Elida Luna Ramos. Yolanda was a CNA and worked for White Oak Manor and home health care for several years. She also worked for Fast Foods Merchandise and OMC. Yolanda enjoyed going to flea markets and thrift stores, but her passion was living for God. She was dedicated to reading the Bible, praying and attending church. Yolanda was a generous and giving person who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Iglesias Pentecostal Rosa De Saron in Drexel, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Viola Martinez, Margarita Medina and Filipa Saldivar and a brother, Dionicio Ramos, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-two years, Jesus Quirino; three daughters, Diana Garcia and husband, Alex of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Crystal Mendoza and husband, Elias of Morganton and Sarah Ramirez also of Morganton; one son, Eli Quirino of Rutherfordton; four brothers, Efrain Ramos of Silvis, Illinois, Pablo Ramos of Milan, Illinois, Armando Ramos and Elizar Ramos both of Ft. Wayne; four sisters, Irma Luna, Arcelia Ramos, Rosa Ramirez and Lila Garcia all of Ft. Wayne; a special friend, Leslie Roach of Ellenboro, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Hamilton Jerez, Mr. Jesus Ramirez and Mr. Roger Jerez officiating. Interment followed in the Alexander Cemetery.
