Brenda Worley, age 66

Brenda Worley, age 66, of Mooresboro, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Brenda was born February 4, 1952 in Rutherford County to the late James L. Johnson and Nancy Stringer Johnson. She worked for Cone Mills for over thirty years and was a longtime and faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Brenda loved taking care of her family and especially enjoyed cooking for them. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of fifty-years, Charles "Chuck" Worley; daughter, Stephanie Worley of Mooresboro; a grandson; two sisters, Barbara Gaida of Lawndale and Kay Meeler and husband, Tony of Meansville, Georgia; a brother, James R. Johnson and wife, Debbie of Connelly Springs, NC and sister-in-law, Annie Mae Johnson of Henrietta.

A memorial service was conducted at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Cornerstone Baptist Church Building Fund, 4357 W. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC 28152.
