Lynda Gayle Spakes Painter, 65

Lynda Gayle Spakes Painter, 65, of Chesnee, SC passed away on Monday, July 06, 2015.

A native of Spartanburg, she was born on October 17, 1949, a daughter of the late Johnny Spakes and Ethel Cartee Spakes Hamrick. She was a retired CNA and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marion Spakes. She is survived by her sons, Danny Puckett and Randy Puckett, both of Chesnee; her sisters, Lois Puckett of Chesnee, Edith Wood of Spartanburg and Thelma Adair of Gaffney; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Hicks Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Jones officiating.
