Print"Cowboy" Ralph Spicer, age 95 of Cliffside, NC, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022.
He was born November 27, 1926 in Wilkes County to the late John Spicer and the late Georgia Money Spicer.
Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He was a lifelong musician playing for over 30 years with Country Music star Lefty Frizzell and various other stars in country music from the 1950's and 1960's.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mamie Johnson Spicer, daughters; Linda Dianne Spicer and Debra Elaine Spicer, two grandsons, two great grandsons, one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one son Larry Wayne Spicer.
A graveside service was held August 5 at Cliffside Cemetery with Rev. Robert Hodgens officiating. Military honors were accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
