JoAnn Burgess Jenkins, age 84, of Ellenboro, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020.

JoAnn was born April 23, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Joe Burgess and Bessie Davis Burgess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, Frank "Pug" Jenkins and two brothers, Dennis and David Burgess.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Jody Jenkins (Cindy) and daughter, Beate` Jenkins all of Ellenboro; one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service was conducted. Interment was private at Race Path Baptist Church Cemetery.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
