John Lewis Kennedy Jr. age 86 of Forest City, NC passed away on September 20, 2015.

John was the husband to the late Queen Taylor Kennedy, and the son of the late Clara Buchannan Kennedy, and John Lewis Kennedy Sr. John was a member of Florence Baptist Church, worked for Rutherford Electric for 39 years, and served in the United States Army.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters Sherry Jonas, and Sharon Ward; son Michael Lewis Kennedy; brother Jack Kennedy; sisters Melba George, and Grace Kelly. Services were held at Crowe's Mortuary. Military honors were provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Burial will be private.

Crowe's Mortuary is serving the family.
